Ms. Veronika Yadav, daughter of Mr. Sanjay Prasad Yadav, living in Kharkiv, Ukraine, who has won several international championships and trophies in gymnastics, met met with Ambassador of India to Ukraine Mr. Manoj K. Bharti on February 7th, 2017 and expressed her desire to represent India.
A promising rhythmic gymnast, Veronika is sure to win many medals in international competitions for India in the coming years, said the embassy in a statement.
Kyiv Conference on agribusiness 2017 Held
On 25 January 2017 a conference titled “Agribusiness-2017: financing instruments, innovative technologies, evaluation and risk management” was organized by International Financial Club “Banker” in Kyiv.
Held in two parts focusing on “Effective financial decisions” and “Evaluation and Risk Management”, the conference has become a platform for exchange of experience between representatives of state government, agricultural companies, insurance companies, banks and investment institutions as well as legal, leasing, auditing and IT-companies.
Addressing the conference, Indian Ambassador Manoj Kumar Bhartisaid this year marks 25 years since the day of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
India is the largest consumer of oil from Ukraine and in 2016 Ukraine supplied to India 100,000 tons of pulses, but this figure can be increased at least 10 times, he said.
